Miscarriage Comfort Kits for Clinics – Pre-Assembled or Assemble yourself! Instructions Included

Join us in offering comfort during one of life’s most heartbreaking moments. Gemma’s Hope provides grief support kits to families facing early pregnancy loss (first trimester) in medical settings such as emergency departments, OBGYN and MFM offices, and fertility clinics. These are spaces where mothers often receive devastating news, and leaving without any support can be incredibly isolating.

Choose Your Kit:

• Assembly Kit (100 bags): Contains all the materials you need to build 100 miscarriage comfort bags, plus a prepaid return label. You cover only kit‑and‑shipping costs. See How It Works below!
• Pre‑Assembled Kits (20 bags): If your hospital or clinic needs ready‑to‑go supplies, order these in packs of 20 finished bags (with a laminated sign for easy display). Order however many sets of 20 you need.

📦 How It Works:

• Purchase assembly Kit: Order the Read-to-Assemble kit from Gemma’s Hope. Each kit includes all essential materials (including tape!) + a prepaid return shipping label. You cover only the cost of the kit + shipping to and from our HQ. Kits come in packs of 100 (to make 100 kits). Order multiple kits at once to save on shipping!
• Assemble the Kits: Follow the step-by-step instructions included with your kit. This is a great hands-on opportunity for students, volunteers, and seniors to serve grieving families with care and intention. Assembling the kits is super easy - even children as young as 4 years old can help!
• Ship Back to Us: Once complete, repack the finished kits into the same box and use the included prepaid label to return them to Gemma’s Hope. We’ll distribute them to hospitals and families in need.

🕯️ What’s Included - Each assembly kit contains enough materials to create multiple miscarriage comfort bags:

• 100 Unscented tealight candles
• 100 Clear cellophane bags to seal candles
• 100 Mini tissue packs
• 100 Small wooden “pocket hug” tokens (or air-dried clay worry stones made by our volunteers)
• 100 Crocheted hearts by Bridget's Cradles
• 100 Printed backing cards
• 100 White organza drawstring bags (8”x12”)
• 1 Double-sided Scotch tape in dispenser
• 7 Washi tape rolls to wrap each candle

🎀 Only items you’ll need to provide:

• Optional add-Ins (These extras are not required but can make each kit even more personal and comforting): Chapstick, hard non-melting candies (e.g. mints, Lifesavers, Tic-Tacs), mini journals (4"x6") + pens). These are completely optional.

• Volunteer time required: ~4 hours for 100 kits (students can receive volunteer hour credits for this!)
